Saadia Mirza, generally known for her unique
creations and designs,featured at the first day of Bridal Couture Week with her
collection Roses in Rain.

The inspiration ethos of
this collection is based in a dreamscape. Crystalline dew drops over the
velveteen petals of a rose, Raindrops creating an opulent effervescence in a
foggy ambiance, spotted sporadically by the sudden brightness of color from the
flowers.
The capsule was heavily
embellished with Swarovski crystals and Gara work, this collection is
ethereally feminine. Designed with exquisite Chantilly Lace, rich silks and
Tulle; 'Roses in Rain’ plays in the shades and nuances of smokey grey and sparkly
silvers, accented with shades of Pink, Peach and Green. Layered and tasseled
with fluid shapes and an ample dash of bling and cut work. This collection is an
anthology of signature Saadia Mirza style.
Saadia Mirza while
elaborating about his collection said “The collection that we showcased at BCW
is inspired from dewdrops over the petals of a rose, and the raindrops creating
the perfect outfit for the upcoming season.”
The jewelry for the collection
is by Hamna Amir, the collection is incorporated in hues of grey. Sana Bucha was
the showstopper of the show having other models walking the ramp like Nadia
Hussain, Sabeeka Imam and many others.
