Samra Khan, after
the tremendous success of her song “Hina ki Khushboo” in Coke Studio Season 8, releases
her first song single ‘BOL’ today with an eye catching video
to accompany it.

for BOL have been written by Waqqas Qadir Sheikh, music composed by Atif Ali - Shot in Dubai, the video for BOL has
been directed by Fadi Khan and produced by the Playback Lounge, Dubai.
‘BOL’ the song is not just about speaking out, it’s about liberation & conquering everything you ever wanted, without worrying what others would say or think. It’s a message to everyone who has ever been told that they can’t move on; reach out and achieve their goals.
On the
release of her first single ‘BOL’, Samra Khan shares
“This is my first original track, so of course it’s very close to my heart.
This song is about breaking free, speaking out & breaking stereotype. Its
lyrics are universal so I know that everyone will connect to it in a different
way”.
Samra Khan
made her debut on Coke Studio, Season 8, in a duet featuring Asim Azhar, singing
‘Hina Ki Khushbu’ a rendition of the original track sung by Madam Noor Jehan
that crossed 2 million views. She also opened the concert for Adnan Sami,
performing Live at Dubai World Trade Centre on 3rd June 2016, the most prestigious
musical venue in Dubai, attended by around 3000 people.
Samra Khan is currently working on several original tracks,
which are expected to be released by year end.
Samra Khan is a promising
singer, who came into the limelight for the first time as part of Coke Studio Season
8. Being a corporate banker by profession, Samra has been pursuing her passion
for singing since a very early age, performing during her school and college
life. She completed her MBA from IoBM(CBM)Karachiand moved to Australia, where
she continued to balance both her banking and singing career and got her big
break in Coke Studio Pakistan in 2015 with the Madam Noor Jehan song “Hina Ki
Khushbu”, raking in over 1 million views on YouTube.
